Change, especially the ones that are tied to your source of livelihood can be frightening. I took a b old decision myself just 4 months ago and embraced a fully remote job after being with my old employer for 7 years.

The safety and certainty surrounding around our jobs is what makes it difficult to make the change, even when deep within you know the change potentially promises you more.

I must say, I have no regret about my decision to change employer after months of contemplating and analyzing the risks. Reality check -- none of the extreme negative outcomes I played up in my head manifested, my team and employer have been amazing and it's been a great learning experience thus far.
