Hi Maya, this is a timely story. I'm currently in the middle of making a decision whether to push forward my relationship with a female friend to a romantic relationship. I believe in her and our values and principles largely align. She believes we could be a power couple, and trust me to raise our future with morality and family values.

Rationally, I believe we will have a beautiful family together. She's hardworking and thoughtful, and she genuinely cares about me and remembers a great deal of the things I share with her. This wasn't the case with my last relationship, which happens to be the only first and only relationship.

I'm happy around her. But I'm doubting if I truly love her and want to be with her for a lifetime. I'm afraid I may be focusing extensively on the logical reasons we perfect together, and dismissing the emotional, mushy feelings which admittedly is currently nominal.
