I totally agree women need not resp ond to any unsolicited compliments.

Most women and their confidence is slashed with such catcalling. At least this is what I have heard couple of my female friends say.

Catcalling and unsolcited compliments takes the focus from the relevant things about women like work, efforts, their deligence and centers it on things that rather sexualizes them and debases them.
