The Transition: Beholding Life In The University
Life in the university is as much challenging as it is also thrilling. A maybe absolute conflation of the many possibilities that a vibrant young man or woman could have in a life-time. A place where freedom is unfettered and adequate room is presented every individual to experiment and to do the things they have over the years yearned to do; to live out their fantasies and dreams, whether those fantasies be morally right or wrong and their dreams, be it plausible or not; to connect to the systems that works in the real world, like: politics, art and entertainment, business etc through many rather less structured but nonetheless powerful campus based structures such as: societies, clubs, focused groups, campus-politics and religious administrations and many more.
The atmosphere and ambiance in the university is totally different in all respects to the 3–4 years Senior High School experience, which to say the least, was intimidating, full of controlled structures and policing by school staffs and parents. These so called adults who are regarded highly and deemed responsible enough to steer our paths in life, micro-managing every second of our lives in a given day.
But contrary to this S.H.S experience, the university quickly starts to impress on students the need to learn, much rather quickly to be self-driven , self-independent, and…
