You Are Not Broken
You’re not broken.
You’re not forsaken.
It’s God, He made you whole.
I know you at your wits ends,
and you don’t know where else to go.
But God, he’s the realest.
The same who was yesterday still remains the same today.
I know you’re feeling hurt inside,
and your life is upside down.
You want to jump of the ledge and let it end.
You close your eyes, and pray to God to take your life away.
You say, what’s the essence of living if all I have is pain and misery.
But God, he says, I’m not done with you my friend,
Better day I see in front of you.
Hold on, I’ve always been walking side by side with you.
Your latter days shall be better than your former days.
Don’t be surprise when it comes in like rainfall and falls on your head like a shower.
Just remember, that I’m your God.
I’ve always been the same, I’ve never changed.
I hold seasons and times in my hands,
and so when I say I will bless a man, it doesn’t matter how much time passes.
I will always keep my word.
I will always let it stand.
